China expands ADIZ to in your face levels

A picture is worth a thousand words, the map shows the new overlap created by the PRC's expansionist policies:

I expect the PRC to start splashing drones on any pretext they can find.   Then as tempers flare, they will jump on the first counter move with a heavy boot.

Chinese implant chips in Irons to send spam

Welcome to the connected world.  Apparently several types of electronic devices made in China contain several types of malign chips.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/blogs-news-from-elsewhere-24707337

This appears to be regular criminality, but what has their government been doing?  Especially with components bought by our military.  I hope we are vigilant regarding this attack vector.

S. Korea outperforms America in stem cell technology

S. Korea uses stem cells more often and with more success than America treating diseases of the blood:

Seoul St. Mary`s Hospital performs 5,000th hematopoietic stem cell transplantation

From the article:

".... we are one of the best performers in the world, as the rate is 10 to 30 percent higher than in the United States, as the survival rate of our 5,000 transplantation surgeries is 20 to 30 percent higher than U.S. hospitals," said Dr. Lee Jong-wook, head of the hospital`s hematopoietic stem cell transplantation center. "There is no need to go overseas for leukemia treatments." "

Col. Morris Davis (Ret.) attacks NRA before Navy shooting bodies are cold

All i have to say with my brief encounter (via twitter) with Col. Davis (Retired) is "wow".
In the wake of the Navy shooting the ex lead prosecutor for Gitmo and retired Col. Morris Davis had more than a few things to say:

“Expect @DarrellIssa to hold hearings on US gun slaughter now that we’ve got a #Benghazi in our backyard,”

“Pres Obama: In response to US gun massacres, we’ll do ‘everything that we can to try to prevent them’ … provided it’s OK with the NRA,”
Full article and source of quotes:
Then, there was a typical twitter exchange

So after being informed that not everyone in the military is stupid, i check his profile.

One comment inspired this blog posting.  "Battling the faux-patriots one comment at a time"

Mr. Davis says his views are his own.  That makes me almost as happy as the fact that he is retired and hopefully can do no more harm to our already weakened military.
I would be interested to hear him define a "faux patriot".  Someone who loves his country but doesn't agree with him?

Update:  After following Mr. Davis and pointing out some truths inconvenient to his narrative I have apparently been blocked.  Can I stand the Pain!?!  For the record, I was polite while Mr. Davis used phrases such as "head up your ass" to someone who was admittedly also earthy with a "full of shit" statement about Mr. Davis.

Mr. Davis delights in every gun death and blames the NRA for them all.  However he ignores several things completely.  In fact he doesn't just ignore them, he deletes them from his tweet streams.

The chain of thought I presented that he seems to have so disliked is this:
Gun deaths are down, while mass shootings are up (The Economist):
http://www.economist.com/news/united-states/21586585-mass-shootings-are-up-gun-murders-down

Mass shootings have a link to prescription drugs:
http://www.infowars.com/media-buries-psychiatric-drug-connection-to-navy-shooter/

(there are numerous articles on this, i just chose this link because it includes the recent Navy incident)

But poor Mr Davis, when facts don't suit his agenda he puts his hands on his ears as squeezes his eyes shut.
Pitiful he was ever an officer in our fine armed services.  I hope his mental disease was caught early and quashed before it could spread to his military peers.
